Why is Ward Golovkin a better fight for boxing or do you mean it's a more competitive fight? G and Canelo seems to be what the Mexican fans want and they are a huge market.

i said "ward and golovkin is a better fight"...u added "for boxing" on your own...and yes i meant as a competitive/fair matchup

golovkins trainer has been on record as saying 168 would be his best weight...and even saying he can beat anyone at 175 right now....

One reason Ward doesn't get love is his boxing style. It's effective but some of it borders on illegal. It's not crowd pleasing. If he beats a fighter he doesn't pick up some of their fans because if his fighting style. He also went into retirement due to his legal problems. It's tough to build a fan base if your not active. There was an issue recently where Kovalev and Ward skipped promotional interviews. This stuff matters..

floyds boxing style was boring as hell too...but people bought him...why? because he "cooned"....which ward doesnt do

people who follow boxing are watching ward...real fans of boxing...they know his standing in the sport and will always watch because of his pedigree.....you are another one that somehow believes casuals matter....they matter to guys like canelo or add buys to a fight like floyd/pac...but other than that casuals dont matter

ward skipping out on a 5 minute segment faceoff will not effect this ppvs sales on bit....those who want to buy/see this fight already have their mind made up to buy it...a 5 minute segment on hbo, that only the diehards will watch anyway, isnt going to produce a huge uptick in sales

ward has shown up to all pressers...posed for pics...dont interviews...showed up for live interview on canelos ppv and will also likely being participating in a 24/7 episode....hes done alot to help this ppv sell

Not picking up fans because of his boxing style isn't a crock. It's a fact. After the Leonard Hearns fight I became a fan of Hearns. Prior to that I was indifferent to him. I'd say your not a boxing fan. A true fan has an open mind and appreciates a good performance.

the bottom line is ward has been, and is, a top 5 p4p fighter...when he fights, real boxing fans, will watch regardless of how friendly his style is to "casuals".......if you are a boxing fan you follow the sport and all the top guys regardless of how boring their style may be to some

but ward doesnt do that...he acts right...and he still dont get any love or respect because certain people arent entertained enough by the way he continually wins....

I'm not an American. I personally wouldn't use that term if I were talking. To me that term is rooted in some very negative imagery. I have a rough idea what its all about. Its a way to suppress ideas that run counter to the mainstream. I really don't care to use it.
