So what would have happened had ward signed to fight on showtime???? After all, that was his last fight with HBO. Would duva then say she would have sued for ward going to a different network??? Lol. Main excuse promotions is going down in flames.

Main Events is actually doing well for a smaller promotional company. Not as big as Arum or GB, but sometimes it's better and easier to manage if you're a smaller company. I know I'd never want to run a big company, especially now. Too many headaches. As for this issue, unless we're lawyers, we're really just speculating on how it would've went down in the courtroom.

Canelo and Golovkin both held world titles in the same division and they were mandated to fight each other. They are also the No1 and No2 ranked fighters in the same division.

Golovkin and Ward are in different divisions. One is a MW and the other is a LHW.

One reason Ward doesn't get love is his boxing style. It's effective but some of it borders on illegal. It's not crowd pleasing. If he beats a fighter he doesn't pick up some of their fans because if his fighting style. He also went into retirement due to his legal problems. It's tough to build a fan base if your not active.
