Having a perfect record was a good marketing strategy fo Mayweather so you'll see the next "next big thing" try to use the same strategy. Of course it doesn't make you a bum. However, if you're seen as a hype job and then lose, prepare to get clowned mercilessly.

That's why it's important for Crawford to cherrypick Pacquiao now before he decides to retire. Pac has been a bum for a long while now. Too many loses.

Triple Flop will always be remembered as a bum. Thanks, Jacobs.

If a fighter loses, he's over and done. Not second chances. Bum for life. That's modern boxing=tough guys.

It's pretty laughable. Arguello, Hopkins and Marquez all started their careers with losses. I think it's good for a young fighter to lose. It keeps him from getting a big head. He's also more likely to not make the mistakes that got him in trouble. of course, there are a lot of fighters that get by on bad decisions so they can keep their "0." This not only screws over the fighter, but makes the young fighter think he's better than he is, along with the fans. Learning only happens from failures which doesn't necessarily take a loss. It could just happen in a close fight. Either way, losing is frowned on way too much- like a bunch of wimps who throw in the towel at the first sign of adversity.

And remember, the shifting technique sucks. It's ****** and never works and will get your head knocked off. ******, ******. Dat shoulder roll doe be geniuth. Oh wait. I just channeled half of his forum. Whoops.

Exactly. The GGG vs Canelo loser would be called a bum, believe me.

w/l, you are who you fight (see rocky marciano, mike tyson, pac, 3g, sol....).

if you go undefeated vs bunch of 10-31;3ko types, your 0 is worthless.
if you tend to ONLY LOSE vs quality guys, chances are youre a BUM.
