Jacobs is in an precocious position. He did well enough in his fight with Golovkin where someone like Saunders might not want to get in the ring with him. At the same time because he lost (officially) you could also make the case (if you're Saunders) that a fight with him would be pointless.

I hate to say it but he might have to start somewhere towards the bottom and work his way up again.

BJS just signed a fight vs Khurtszide, finally facing his mandatory in July, hopefully Jacobs doesnt go inactive again and keeps calling out fighters who already have other fights upcoming. He should try to get the Charlo or Lemieux fight.
