Canelo is all propaganda, tell who has he beaten. Barely beats Lara and Trout (thats all he has), the same way GGG barely beat Jacobs. They are both at the same level. The only reason people don't duck Canelo is because he brings Cash. Canelo aint better than Lomachenko or Crawford, yet he brings in more dough. Who ever wins this fight Props to that person. I don't care who wins as long it's a good fight. I pay to see the best fight the best, not cheering for anyone. I favor GGG, but it's a 50-50 fight.

Canelo has beaten Lara, trout (while undefeated), and a very good cotto at that time imo. His head movement is better, hand speed is more, combinations are much improved and if 20 year old canelo was 50/50 with golovkin then 26 year old canelo beats himComment

No, p4p he's not better than crawford or lomachenko, but both of them are LEVELS above golovkin.

Cotto was shot to ****, let's be real. Just because he knocked out a drained zombie in Daniel Geale and beat a wheelchair bound Sergio Martinez does not mean anything.Comment

This is all a steaming pile of dog****. Danny Jacobs and his trainer are very respectable people. They don't do any trash talking at all and come off as really good people, honestly. I take them at their word and I believe they said Danny was ~178 just before the fight.
Guess what? I believe Danny was 178 on fight night...because there's absolutely nothing to suggest otherwise regarding lies or bs from Danny/his trainer. Good, stand-up people.
When Roach/Manny/Arum/Canelo/Canelo's trainers/Abel/Gennady/Floyd/Any Mayweather/De La Hoya say stuff like that...I'm skeptical. Why? Because there's a precedence of those guys lying or talking out their @ss. That precedence doesn't exist for Danny and his trainer. Seem like honest, stand-up guysComment

I think that's pushing it a bit. Cotto looked excellent in the fight. His movement was good, punches were sharp, canelo happened to be better, but cotto showed good defense as well, not getting hit clean very often. Yes, I would say cotto looked good at that time.Comment

Floyd handled Canelo easily with superior skills and without the power behind them. I see Golovkin out boxing Canelo much like he did with Lemieux. That fight convinced me of Golovkin's adaptability. I would like to see Canelo fight Jacobs but there too I would give the edge to Jacobs, again based on skill and power.Comment

Not really. What I'm saying is that Canelo couldn't handle Floyds skills. IMO the level of Golovkin's skills with the additional component of power might be too much for Canelo just as it was too much for Lemieux. I realize Canelo has improved since the Floyd experience but he hasn't faced anyone like Golovkin. I personally think Jacobs would beat Canelo. Just an opinion.Comment
