    Shifting Technique used by GGG

My cousin showed me a video about Shifting

After watching it, it made me believe that GGG will trap Canelo using these techniques explained in the video. However, I then switched back to Canelo.

But the question is, How does someone adjust in the ring to defeat the fighting style of GGG?
    Will shifting affect Canelo?

    Thank you

Canelo has NO chance. He is getting KO'd by round 9. Canelo is going to be a "Good Boy."

Don't fall for the 'magic' the video is trying to cast by pretending it's some lost art or secret technique that will win a fight. It's part of a number of subtle techniques that a boxer uses. If you're looking at "tricks", Canelo has more layers to his game but, again, they're all just tools. At the end of the day, it's the craftsman who makes the product, not the tools.

This is brilliantly said. Fighters such as Canelo have multiple layers and wrinkles to their game, it's what separates them from all others who may have the same physical appearance - superiority in skill.

Boxing really is a game of chess, a game of counters - great fighters are always working to offset the subtle tricks of their opponent.

Watching two great fighters try to stay one step ahead of the other is absolute bliss - high hopes for Canelo-GGG.

It's a very good skill and is not often used. It can be tricky to use even when you have it. If you like it, check out Pirog's knockout of Danny Jacobs and I mean the knockout itself. He shifts a few times. Jacobs looks like a deer in headlights.

Shifting is probably a lost art it's a bit rigid. In the modern era we pivot now.
