Floyd has said since day 1 that he is the a- side and I thoroughly believe he will follow through with that sentiment in negotiations should they even get to him

I like the deadline. I hope it passes so we don't have to pay any attention to that nonsense. If Floyd wants to make a fight, he should fight GGG after he beats up Canelo.

Why would Floyd do that? To park in the disabled bay?

On this site? No one. UFC fans? Just about all of them.

I have 2 co workers, both of them UFC fans who only talk about boxing when talking about this fight. They think it's the biggest/greatest fight that can currently be made. One of them is in disbelief that boxings still a sport. He doesn't think anyone watches it.

I thought he said weeks ago he already had deal in place with McGregor? Sounds like that's not the case and you need that before you can even holla at floyd. Floyd is the boss here he will handle all the promotions UFC is not touching a nickel of his money they only getting a percent of McGregor's purse which he has to work out. UFC going to take half his money to allow him to enter a boxing ring. those thieves but half of say 30m is still more then he making in the UFC.

Trying to give deadlines to floyd is a easy way to kill a fight. Especially when you ain't got your shyt together.

froid is begging for this fight if really wants it he should make some concessions of his own just like he did with manny. dana and the ufc are just stringing him along though lol they are using this for free publicity.

couldn't have said it any better. this mcGregor fight is froid's attempt at fleecing the fans one last time.

Nonetheless, while the UFC will have a big part to play in it, the key here is that it will be the UFC, not Dana. Just sayin' - Dana is a mouthpiece. A character.
Yes and Mayweatner Promotions are not in my mind a serious promotional company.

The UFC doesn't want Connor in this fight it is not in their interest for him to be schooled in front of a huge audience event its not a good look for the UFC, but they don't want to tick Connor off either, and he really wants the Floyd fight, so they have to be a yes man while really saying no.

So whats the best way around this for the UFC, Dana being such a nice guy comes out and does a complete flip flop from saying it will not happen, and then gives Connor the go ahead and the UFCs blessing, and then he stalls negotiations while telling Connor Floyd is hard to deal, all the while Dana plays the innocent one hoping the fight fizzles out and the UFC is off the hook .

Its not hard to see whats cooking in this stove.
