I hope it doesn't happen for a few reason...but mostly because if Mayweather wants to make $100 million then let him earn it and fight somebody worthy of a mega pay-day like GGG after he beats Canelo...otherwise he will go back into retirement and claim his big 50th win off a guy who has less than 0 chance.

Your statement is partially wrong. Dana himself is small change in the big equation and doesn't control shyt, but he is the mouth piece for the 4 billion dollar UFC. Some of what he says is relevant.

If this "fight" gets pushed back to 2018, then it would definitely favor McGregor. Of course it would have to be 2022 before he can beat Floyd in a boxing match.
