They don't want an even playing field, for the fighters for the sake of their favorite fighter winning the fight, even if there was corruption involved, fouling involved, incompetence/corruption of referee's involved. They just don't care as long as their fighters got the win.

But I dont know how you can go on a boxing forum and only talk about network ratings and boxing business, A-side, b-side. wtf, start talking about boxing.
Participating occasionally on these topics is ok, but there are some poster who exclusively talk about numbers and ratings.
Don't get me started on the guys who cannot appreciate a good fight because their favorite guy wasn't a part of it. These are fanboys who would have shyt all over Hagler-Hearns because Ray Leonard wasn't one of the opponents. Or ridicule the paychecks that Gatti/Ward earned for their fights because they weren't 8-digits each.
Then we have the ones who think that once a fighter suffers just one loss his career is over, he was a hype-job, a bum. I watched all the Mayweather fangirls celebrating when Chocolotito lost his last fight because he was creeping up on Floyd's undefeated streak. Suddenly he was a hype job once he lost.

I think most fans care about all the things you said they don't care about, but the problem is they don't have any control of those things happening & things have been going down that road for so long that they have lost hope on anything changing with those problems so concern themselves less about them. I think some fans have even went Stockholm syndrome with it & support some of the corruption or just accept it as a legit part of the sport that'll never change.
And I mean if you are the nerdy kid in your neighborhood that weighs 82lbs & can't fight vs the 179lb bully then you are eventually just gonna confront the reality you live in & your lack of power in that reality & just try to avoid reality as much as possible like Deebo when he comes peddling down the street....or go get a gun & sh^t that mfer or something crazy like that. And idek what the "get the gun & shoot that mfer" option is for boxing fans under all the corruption & bs going on in the sport.

nah...there are still boxing fans
you can spot a non fan when they make every excuse in the book for golovkin for anything and everything...but knock guys like floyd and ward for anything......there are also fierce national loyalists on both sides who are a bit crazy too....but there are still alot of reasonable fans left
