Comments Thread For: Wilder: Me vs. Joshua Would Be Bigger Fight Than Canelo-Golovkin

Deontay Wilder was ringside for Anthony Joshua's remarkable comeback and knockout against Wladimir Klitschko on April 29. The amazing atmosphere inside a sold-out Wembley Stadium made the unbeaten WBC heavyweight champion wonder what it would be like if he fought Joshua. Wilder told host Randy Gordon for this week's episode of "At the Fights" on Sirius XM's Rush (Channel 93) that he believes a Wilder-Joshua fight could draw a crowd in excess of 100,000 and that their fight could generate "half-a-billion dollars" in overall revenue.

Bum-Squad beggn 4 attention and big payday! Joshua will throw U a bone eventually.. Until then Haymon has that college campus arena in Hicksville, Alabama reserved 4 ur epic rematch with that stiff Stiverne, who will probably take U another 12 despite ur legendary power.

Wilder wants the biggest fight with the biggest payday! The fight would definately be bigger than CANELO/Lil G.

Anybody knows why this Wilder guy never shown any interest in fighting Klitschko? Now that AJ dismantles Klit and this Wilder guy wants to take the glory. It's like letting someone do the dirty work first then come in to take the loot. It's shameless.

Before AJ's last fight, and before last weekend's fight, I would say that there's no way Wilder vs. Joshua could compete with GGG vs. Canelo. After seeing GGG struggle with Jacobs, and 90,000 in Wembley, I believe Wilder vs. Joshua could be the 2017 FOY.

Bigger $ for AJ with Klit rematch or Fury. Poor Bum-Squad - the most unpopular Us hw champ ever - on the outside looking in...is like the "f" side to Aj!

Wilder is not even a household name in the US.....
Hope AJ and Wlad do a rematch - would be the biggest boxing event world-wide.
