Could Anthony Joshua beat Prime Roy Jones Jr?

The ultimate test of speed vs size. I think speed wins at the end.

Roy at 175 had a great chin and took monster punches and punishment from the likes of elite puncher Antonio Tarver and James Toney. I think Roy will suffer a few scares along the way but will his way to a points victory over 12. How well do you guys see him doing against current Joshua?

    Lol. A barely 200lb guy vs. a 250lb HW with 19knockouts in 19 fights.

Ohh, AJ won gold, Jones didn't, so AJ > RJJ

Vlad is not much its the new era of the big men and most cant really fight, if and that's a big if Jones can box and not get hit for 12 rounds he can out box most HWs as they very slow with their size compared to the 220 pounders of years gone by.

They good Heavies but I don't think they could touch a prime Ali etc.

It's one thing to move to hw to fight ruiz...it's something else altogether to fight a guy joshua's size. It would never happen.

Jones won a version of the heavyweight title by beating a poor champion. He never even considered fighting the real heavyweight champion Lennox Lewis. AJ would knock out Ruiz in a round or two and he would do the same to Roy Jones. Jones doesn't have the punching power to bother AJ and he couldn't hold AJ off.

Dude, Anthony Joshua is a Super Heavyweight, Roy came up from middleweight I think. Total mismatch, it be completely unfair for the undersized Jones.

I politely disagree. Jones had the hand speed and the heart to compensate for a 50 pound weight disadvantage. Roy was great at setting traps and counter punching. He knocked out Griffin with a great trap. Joshua as good as he is could be walking into this all night long. I'm not saying Roy wins but could be a true toss up
