this kid is such a disgrace to his father. Jr dragged the Chavez name down the drain and really should just retire like Sr says. He's 31 not young anymore. If he hasn't gotten it by now he won't ever. He's needs to disappear or at best stay fighting bums in Mexico and hope that in a year or 2 the stink of this fight will wear off and maybe he can get another fight. But right now it's basically impossible to get fans or any network to pay to see him again. He basically needed 2 years to get fans to forget about him quitting against Fonfara. This fight will leave a bigger mark. I hope I never see him in a world class fight ever again.

It's hard to be as good or better than your legendary father. The only thing that is common is an average athlete has a son who's better than him at the sport. But when you're already one of the greatest, and your son joins the sport it's gonna be hard.

To name some sons who were greater than their fathers, and their fathers were "good" at best. Well Bobby Bonds was pretty damn good, 300+ homers with no PED's, but still his son was legendary (and controversial).

Chavez Sr just has to look at Magic Johnson and his son though, he'll see that Chavez Jr isn't that big of an L as a son.
