The greatest of all time means he is better than any other fighter who ever lived. That's a huge order. One big win over a great fighter isn't enough to do that for him. In fact I don't call any boxer the greatest of all time. There have been many great fighters but they all had their weaknesses and almost all of them lost fights. Mayweather will be remembered as a great fighter by most. I think GGG and Canelo will eventually be considered great fighters but none of them will be the GOAT. Ray Robinson is often called the GOAT but he lost 19 fights and he wasn't old in all of those losses. Maybe there is really no such think as the GOAT. I prefer to call a fighter great and leave it at that. There are many great fighters of the past I will never see fight in their prime because there is no decent films of their best fights.

Canelo gets the biggest win in the most impresisve manner of the decade. He gains recognition as mw champ while having at one stage been a top 2 guy at lmw and if he continues to defend that mw title and look good, he could be one of the very best ever.
