It would be as good of a win for Canelo as the hype job Lacy was for Calslappy. I don't place too much greatness in wins over hype jobs with **** resumes. Canelo will be one of my favorite fighters if he beats GGG and ends the hype train though.

I will give him credit for exposing the biggest hype job in Boxing history. I don't rate GGG highly at all... the HBO hype kool aid doesn't work with me since I'm not a casual. Resume actually means something to me and GGG has the worst resume I've ever seen for the hype he receives. They are using regular WBA "title" defenses to compare with Hopkins title defense record, which is moronic imo(and I hate Hopkins). Nobody knows how good GGG actually is... it's sad that Canelo will be his 1st quality opponent(yeah that means I don't rate Jacobs highly at all or anyone on GGG's resume thus far).
