I thought that fight was tight after 5 or 6 rounds. Thing is, GRJ will never beat Loma moving backwards. If he pressed the fight, which he would do at the beginning of rounds, he would have a shot. But after coming forward, by the middle of the rounds, he was on the back foot letting Loma lead. Not going to win it that way.
I'd be down for the rematch if GRJ would sharpen up, stay active and earn it.Comment

Selby is a bit*ch for not wanting a fight with Russell Jr.! I hope GRJ gets the winner of LSC vs. Mares! That should be a good one! Then hopefully we do get to see a rematch with Loma, before Loma goes to 135! I still don't understand why PBC has a card on FOX the same night as GRJ's fight in Maryland. Maybe Haymon and GRJ have beef?Comment

This guy just thinks he's some kind of 100 year flood of boxing. He isn't. Lomachenko may be that 100 year flood though. But still, it would be fun for Jr to get in there and make a complete fool of himself for 12 rounds (or less). Lomachenko is the real thing, and Jr would find that out early in the fight.Comment

Rematch wouldn't be any different, Loma is just a level above but Russell is a good fighter though.
If he moves up and grabs a belt then why not i suppose, Russell vs Gervonta Davis sounds like a fun fight.Comment

I don't see why a rematch can't happen. However, Russell needs to be more active and beat better competition to make the rematch worthy.Comment
