I recall the general consensus around here, it was supposed to be a complete whitewash of Loamcheko but as fans let's agree to just disagree.
Russell took a couple rounds and put up a good fight, but he was dominated and getting beat up by the final round. Russell has been doing good work since then, but I don't think a rematch makes sense. I'd much rather see Loma take on Garcia or Linares at 135.
Oh, Salido's grandson is talking, still salty. It wasn't Lomachenko who beat you, it was that sauna. You'd still beat Lomachenko 99 times out of 100. And 98 out of 100 after rematch
He has to get more active and relevant before asking for a rematch against a guy who's planning to move up for bigger fights than GRJ can offer. He was prospect of the year but he's fighting 1 time a year now, it seems like Lomachenko ruined that Haymon's investment
But people forgot how good GRJ is - he managed to get a draw from one judge on the scorecards
I don't know but Gary damn near lost every round against loma (at least 8)....Gary might be too small for him or loma should move up already.
GRJ has been too inactive and hasn't even moved up to 130 yet. I don't see it happening and I'm not even so sure there is much demand for a rematch either. Of course GRJ wants it because its the only blemish on his record and I appreciate that, but if he wants it to happen, he'd better shit or get off the toilet. Loma will be moving up to 135 soon.
Maybe he had an off night? I don't think the fight was nearly as one sided as people made out.
Exactly. He claimed he over-trained and I believe him. I think its obvious that Loma knows he gets schooled in the rematch and that's why he wants to keep moving up to avoid him.
That's a fight that should be discussed. I know GRJ would be down, I doubt Rigo would.
Wow what a snoozer that would be. GRJ would throw 100 punches per round and miss with every one. Rigo would land 2 punches for every 100 GRJ threw and would win by a 12-0 decision.
