Floyd facing the Canelo v. GGG winner at 160 would be the biggest challenge of his career, so that tells you how overrated his career is..

GGG facing his biggest challenge at 34 years old in a weight class he's fought his whole career. What does that tell you about his career?

GGG vs Mayweather is a $100 million plus fight. That's what Mayweather is looking for and of course GGG would choose the money that a Mayweather fight would offer him over anyone else. That's how it's been for everyone who has ever been a potential Mayweather opponent since Mayweather fought De La Hoya. The McGregor fight would make Canelo vs Jr look nail biting...nobody wants to see it. If Mayweather wants another mega payday (and this appears to be the case)...that's the fight to be made. I made a thread about this. No complications with showtime...no contract. By the time the Canelo fight is over the hype for it could push the PPV's through the roof. He's not too small for GGG...he probably has the same chance of keeping out of harms way with him for 12 rounds as he's done with everyone.

Based on what? The $4 mil gate against Jacobs? Floyd vs. Berto doubled that. The 150k PPV's? Floyd's lowest selling PPV was double that. How are you coming up with $100 mil?

Floyd not fighting anyone at 160. He walk around at 150 to 152 at best. If he was to fight the winner it will be at a catch weight of 152 to154. But i think he could still get his $100 million. McGregor would lose out he not getting $75 million fighting anyone in the ufc. He could possibly earn $20 plus million against GSP.

Correct me if I am wrong but green inexperienced naive and foolish 23-year old Canelo's fight night weight was 168 or less vs. Floyd.

Since the Cotto fight, his fight night weight is always 180 pounds and above. Vs. Chavez Jr. he looked easily 185+ pounds. He looked much bigger than Chavez Jr. in spite of the distinct height difference.

In case you haven't watched the last fights of Canelo, he has walked through EVERYBODY'S punches, including Angulo, Lara, Cotto, who had previously KO'd REAL MIDDLEWEIGHTS, Khan of course, Liam Smith, and Chavez Jr. who was probably 180 pounds or something like that, on fight night.

If a tiny Pacquiao easily walked through Floyd's punches in his last meaningful fight, sending Floyd to the ropes many times, Manny being the shorter, lighter way smaller guy, JUST IMAGINE a 185-pound super-fast Canelo --yes, Canelo is MUCH FASTER AND SHARPER THAN HE WAS VS. FLOYD-- vs. a tiny what, 155-pound 40-something semi-retired Floyd?

Unless there would be a ridiculous pre-fight fix, I'd bet anyone Floyd would be KO'd, or if he survived by running away all night, he would still go right to the hospital right after the fight, all battered and would vomit blood like Cotto, Lara, Angulo, Smith, Khan surely did the next day.

Canelo needed fame and cash badly. He was no match for prime Floyd. Floyd needed to defeat a future super-star when he was green, naive and drained.

But today is a totally different story and for the record, I totaly dislike both Floyd (for fighting like a coward and being a tricky cheater) and Canelo (for being a loud mouth and a cowardly smaller-opponent-bully who was afraid to take on GGG when the latter was a beast).

And don't get me started on a GGG-Floyd match, even at 154. Seriously, saying that Floyd could get serious brain damage, permanent disability or even killed in such a fight is not an exaggeration by any means.

The biggest floyd ever got in the ring at was 151. On fight night ggg tips the scales at 174lbs. How is floyd not too small for ggg?

You're talking about 10 years ago when he fought De La Hoya...he's heavier now...probably around 165. GGG is 170 fight night and would probably be 164 if he went down to 154. Canelo was about the same fight night when he fought Mayweather. They have the same reach...Pac vs Margarito was a much bigger size difference. He wants to earn 100 million $$ plus...he has to earn it and take some risks otherwise he can go rematch Berto if he thinks otherwise.
