GGG vs Mayweather is a $100 million plus fight. That's what Mayweather is looking for and of course GGG would choose the money that a Mayweather fight would offer him over anyone else. That's how it's been for everyone who has ever been a potential Mayweather opponent since Mayweather fought De La Hoya. The McGregor fight would make Canelo vs Jr look nail biting...nobody wants to see it. If Mayweather wants another mega payday (and this appears to be the case)...that's the fight to be made. I made a thread about this. No complications with showtime...no contract. By the time the Canelo fight is over the hype for it could push the PPV's through the roof. He's not too small for GGG...he probably has the same chance of keeping out of harms way with him for 12 rounds as he's done with everyone.

The point, however, is that Floyd is now 40 years old, has been out of the ring for over 2 years, and is retired. Why dlh would even bring this up is beyond me.... it's really getting ridiculous. If dlh wants to make more money, why doesn't he lose some weight and fight the winner?

De La Hoya does not stand to make anything off of it because Smellnelo is not going to beat GGG.

If Floyd cared about the 50th win he'd have gotten it pretty easily. Floyd is talking about connor not for legacy but for a 200+ million dollar check...that's simply what it comes down to. If you don't support that if it happens just don't watch it?

A 40 year old 2 years retired jumping into a division he's never fought in to win a belt against the lineal champion.... that would be the best win of almost any fighters career let alone Floyds.

If Mayweather-McGregor doesn't get made, I wouldn't mind Canelo-McGregor in the Ultimate Ginger Showdown lol.

The biggest floyd ever got in the ring at was 151. On fight night ggg tips the scales at 174lbs. How is floyd not too small for ggg?

Oscar is dying to see Floyd get his azz whooped like he did when he fought Pacquiao! He knows good and damn well that Floyd can come back at 40 and fight a MW like Canelo or GGG, at 160!

I agree with dkl for once. Floyd needs to beat prime nelo to be considered alongside the true greats like Duran, srl, srr and PAC.
You won't be 8 division titilist like pac but be 5 or 6 at the very least if you want to be compatpred to him
