"If there are two people in boxing who are basically identical to each other, in the way they conduct their careers, those are the two guys..."

I'm sorry Mr. Lampley, I'm going to have to respectfully disagree. Canelo's career path has been significantly different from GGG. He turned pro at 15, and has already faced Trout, Mayweather, Angulo, Lara, and Cotto, and he's only 26!

I like Lampley's enthusiasm, but sometimes he sees things that aren't there. He is a good cheerleader, but I wouldn't bet the farm on the accuracy of his observations.

When i read that, i chuckled too. I'm assuming lampley meant in terms of their preparation, work ethic, and the way their carry themselves outside the ring.

I really don't see Gennady as the favorite. Not even as a slight favorite. And I'm rooting hard for Golovkin.

But Gennady has to knock out Canelo. Because he's not a good enough boxer to beat Canelo in a decision. He's just not.

And we've never seen Canelo hurt since he's arrived at the top level. He hasn't even been close to being put on the canvas...let alone knocked the f**k out.

Honestly I think it's something like 60/40 Canelo.
