Canelo fight with Lara and Floyd will his last real threats, and it's been years. Kirkland, Cotto, Khan (I can't believe that's real), Smith and Zombie Chavez. That's a whole lot of easy fights for the heavy Canelo.
Brook likely beats each of those fighters, with only Cotto going 12, and Jacobs whoops them.
Canelo experience with Lara and Floyd give him big challenge experience, but nothing like he's about to face. Neither of them were bigger, stronger, fighters who could not only outbox him, but put him to sleep too.
That's like playing for the Chicago Cubs, striking out one game, getting a hit in another, and then playing minor league baseball for a AA team for awhile and jumping to hit against the MLB best pitchers.
Canelo better get a sparring partner that can push him or he will be overwhelmed in the ring by Golovkin.
Fighting GGG should prove interesting. Although GGG is a little past his prime it will still be the first time in quite a while where Canelo is fighting in a boxing match where he isn't fighting an opponent who is much smaller than he is physically ,is well past their prime or like in the case of Chavez has a name but limited skills. This fight will sell a lot of tickets and no question it will be an exciting fight but I still fully expect a past his prime GGG will knock Canelo out. To much is being based on the Jacobs fight. Jacobs is the real deal and is a far harder puncher and bigger opponent than Alverez is. Canelo is no Jacobs , good fight but and easy pick for GGG
Stop with that itsh that GGG IS past his prime, he is not at all, he just looked somewhat bad because the opponent was is formidable, in Jacobs, and nothing more, nothing less soooo please cuts that ****ty excuse.
