Who cares? Belts don't do nothing but collect dust. The winner is "the guy" at 160 and Danny Jacobs remains the #1 contender with a handful guys coming up in the next couple of years

Thanks for bowing out gracefully - Like I said I could of gave you Joshua and Degale and the IBF still comes out short against the WBO, anyone that knows boxing and follows the WHOLE sport will tell you this ; I didn't cherry pick a division like you did at HW. Keep up the good work with your blogs buddy.

Here are the current champions per division, I left out unified champions since it only makes sense because they are holding both titles ( IBF - WBO ) and I went ahead and put the IBF head to head with the WBO ; you tell me who comes out on top.

          HW: ( IBF ) Joshua | ( WBO ) Joseph Parker - Debatable

          Cruiser : ( IBF ) Murat Gassiev | ( WBO ) Oleksandr Usyk - Usyk ( WBO )

          SMW : ( IBF ) James DeGale | ( WBO ) Zurdo Ramirez - Debatable

          Middleweight: ( IBF ) GGG ( WBO ) | Billy Joe - GGG ( IBF )

          Jr. Middleweight : ( IBF) Jarret Hurd | ( WBO ) Canelo just vacated. ( WBO )

          Welterweight : ( IBF ) Kell Brook | ( WBO ) Pacman - Pacqiouao ( WBO )

          Jr. Welterweight : (IBF) Indongo | ( WBO ) Crawford - Bud ( WBO )

Lightweight : ( IBF) Robert Easter Jr | ( WBO ) Terry Flanagan - Debatable.

Jr. Lightweight : ( IBF) Gervonta Davis | ( WBO) Vasyl Lomachenko - Loma ( WBO)
          Featherweight : ( IBF ) Lee Selby | ( WBO ) Oscar Valdez - Valdez ( WBO )

          jr. Featherweight : ( IBF ) Yukinori Oguni | ( WBO ) Jessie Magdaleno - Magdaleno ( WBO )

          Bantamweight : ( IBF ) Lee Haskins | ( WBO ) Zolani Tete - Tete ( WBO )

          Jr. Bantamweight : ( IBF ) Jerwin Acajas | ( WBO ) Naoya Inoue - Inoue lineal ( WBO )
          Flyweight : ( IBF ) Donnie Nietes | ( WBO ) Zou Shiming - Nietes ( IBF )

          Light Flyweight : ( IBF ) Akira Yaegashi | ( WBO ) Kosei Tanaka - gaved it to ( IBF )

          Minimumweight : ( IBF ) Jose Argumedo | ( WBO ) Tatsuya ***uhara - ( IBF ) Jose Argumedo

There you have it my friend by far the WBO comes out ahead of the IBF, even if I gave you Joshua and Degale its still behind and I find it interesting that when I gave them a division it was debatable but It the opposite for the WBO ; they have the clear champions and Lineal : how many lineal champions do the IBF have up here? Pac is lineal, Crawford is lineal, Inoue is lineal.....I mean who can honestly being informed argue the IBF is better than the WBO?!
How is Pacquiao lineal champion? Genuinely curious, not challenging your knowledge or anything. He lost to Mayweather and fought Bradley and Vargas in his comeback fights. How did he win the lineal title from those?

some tried to claim pac-bradley was "lineal."

even if it was, manny retired. so no, he is not lineal champion.

              I'm of the same opinion.

Let's just enjoy this fight and let the chips/titles fall where they may; who cares!

The lineage was vacated when Floyd Mayweather retired, remember at the time ( 2015-2016) the welterweight division was stagnant ; we had even not seen Thurman-Garcia, Kell Brook is just facing Errol Spence Jr this year ( 2017)!....so as you all should know when the lineage is void the two best in the division reestablishes the lineage and that was Pacquiao vs. Bradley.

Yeah and did you know when you return to the sport you are ranked once again? a legend like Pacman does not start all the way down to 100 and has to work his way up ; When he returned there was no one more accomplished at welterweight.
Are you sure you are a boxing writer bro? and is the guy I just replied to about lineage your alt? just bow out bro if you are not going to quote me don't piggy back off someone else reply.

That would really suck when we're so close to having an undisputed MW champion. Alvarez-Saunders was rumored going back last year so I know there's interest there. Even if it's only for one day until they started dropping belts, I want to see the winner of this fight go after Saunders so we get an undisputed champ.

Oh ok. Pacquiao's "retirement" came after the Bradley fight right. I don't consider 6 months out of the ring a retirement lol. Is there an official "organization" that lists all the lineal champions in all divisions? I would appreciate a link if there is one. Or I could just google it if you hook me up with a name.

What fight would you consider more worthy of being contested for the lineal title anyways?
                    Pacquiao-Bradley IV
                    Thurman-Garcia or
                    Brook-Spence?

Not really a big deal to me. GGG-Canelo defines the recognized man of the middleweight division. Title belts are irrelevant.
