I favor Broner

he hasn't lost below 147.....Mikey hasn't had a lot of rounds the last few years


Broner has only been dropped a couple times and has shown good recovery power, chin, etc. all by far bigger men than mikey.


His issues come with pressure, not someone utilizing boxing skills

Mikey is a lil stiff as far as head movement and can be timed

I think Broner would win a close fight where his showy counters and harder shots, shine more than mikeys jab and attempts to outbox him.

Broner lost to Porter at a catch weight below 147lbs. lol. Broner hasn't fought many quality opponents and when he did he lost or struggled. Did you watch Broner's last fight ffs? Broner is on his way to being a gatekeeper. He never was anything special. Quintero and Ponce exposed him long ago. He is just a loud mouthed moron that was more hype than substance. I don't think Mikey would destroy him but I think he would win a UD. Broner could drop Mikey though... hopefully his chin gets better with less drying out to make weight.

I understand fighters struggle with other fighters. But this is a trend for Broner. He got beat by Maidana the same way he got beat by Porter. Volume, volume, volume. He struggled with Paulie and Granados for the same reason.

Can we agree that there clearly is a gameplan to beat Broner and many top 10 guys at 40 and 47 can execute it? That's been my point this whole time.

yjr facts are they've been around since the beginning of modern boxing and aren't going anywhere because of the tears of a few fans...some of boxings biggest fights in history involved a catchweight or someone agreeing to fight in a division they never fought in to pit two top fighters together
