...he lost to two former welterweight champions and hasn't lost below 147.....how is that anything close to a gatekeeper?

no prospects or no names have upset him yet

only guy id favor to beat him below 147 in Bud...Mikey is my guy but people love to right Broner off because they don't "like" his personality....who cares...the kid can fight and people underrate the guy because of it.

he hasn't lost below 147.....Mikey hasn't had a lot of rounds the last few years


Broner has only been dropped a couple times and has shown good recovery power, chin, etc. all by far bigger men than mikey.


His issues come with pressure, not someone utilizing boxing skills

Mikey is a lil stiff as far as head movement and can be timed

I think Broner would win a close fight where his showy counters and harder shots, shine more than mikeys jab and attempts to outbox him.

He should've lost to Granados. He went life and death with Emmanuel Taylor and Paulie. The books out on him. He doesn't let his hand go enough to win at the top level and if he can't hurt his opponent, they'll just keep throwing and win rounds by volume.

I could care less about his personality. He's just not an A level fighter and would be beat by the top guys at 147 (Garcia, Thurman, Spence, Brook) and would surely lose to Crawford at 140

No catchweights because they should be banned from boxing. This would have been a good fight 3 or 4 years ago when broner was at his perfect weight but Garcia would smash him now.

catchweights have been a part of modern boxing over 100 years...this aint new folks...its BEEN a regular thing...just saying....
