The ONLY reason why Golovkin has been at 160 for so long was because of Ward168

Did he say he wasn't ready before or after he called GGG into the ring, told Sanchez to feel his balls, and said he'd fight GGG at the full limit of 160 "right now"?

Wait, I know when it was. It was after the WBC said you have two weeks or it goes to purse bid. That's when he said he wasn't ready for 160.

Canelo kept changing his timetable, that's what the problem was. But all this is a moot point now, since they're fighting. You know this, you just need some attention.
Stop bringing up Cotto. GgG accepted step aside fees

I've said since the beginning if I had to choose between GGG vs Ward or GGG vs Canelo, I'd pick the Canelo fight every time. I'm glad the fight is happening. Can we all move on from a possible Ward vs GGG fight already?

Now had he just stayed at 154, he could have ran his mouth all he wanted, no harm done. But once he held that middleweight title up in the air, well that changed things.

Im not all that surprised though that you dont understand it.
You still don't get the irony Terry? Ggg fans are still hyping Alvarez as if that's the Kazakh's legacy. Again, did Alvarez exist in the ggg narrative before Cotto won 160 or "nobody wants to fight ggg" or "Martinez or Sturm doe"

Again why are GgG fans always so insecure to speak northbound and neve take responsibility that he could've already been a 2 Division Champ.?!!

Oh wait, he's trying to get all the 4 belts doe... yeah priority but let's go after Alvarez..

Dude all this karma is gonna have GgG being KO'd

Everybody knows GGG will never Ward. We are talking past tense. In fact we are even talking 168 for ggg to be a two division champ has nothing to do with Ward.

Since Ward has been out of the picture why hasn't ggg moved up on the last couple years?! 4 belts doe?

All this came back to bite. I'm trying to win new Nelo fans to hop off the Gennady to train to alvarez, a more bonafide OG

Getting the Canelo fight is the reason he stood. And it worked. Sooo....

And part of that step aside agreement is that the winner would face GGG NEXT!

You know this, it just doesn't fit your narrative

Alvarez didn't have the WBC since May of 2016. You're saying a seasoned 160 fighter solidified himself to wait for Alvarez because he didn't want to grab a belt at 168?! Which the supposed ggg fans said nobody from 168 could beat him?

That's like Swift fans saying nobody from 147 could handle his power but when he fought champions then what happened?

and that doesnt even take into account the 2 choices he was presented:

NOT get the Cotto fight and pocket $800,000.00

NOT get the Cotto fight and pocket $0.00

                  That was the choice........

Does golden boy pay you to do that? If not it's pretty sad that you spend your time trying to convert people from one fanbase to another. Let people like who they want to like.

What in the hell are you on about? You're talking belts, I'm talking about a fight. Canelo gets GGG his biggest pay day by far. That's why he stood at 160. Why would he move up when a cash cow in right in reach? Moving up to 168 would've given Oscar even more reason to not make the fight happen.
