No announcement yet.
The ONLY reason why Golovkin has been at 160 for so long was because of Ward168

He ditched the WBO for a 154 upcomer.
He rather fight the upcomer than The Jacobs rematch, the actual 160 fighter.
Golovkin's legacy is based on waiting for Alvarez? Lol

Comparing a 152 Nelo with Floyd is as good as Golovkin wanting Floyd and PAC at 154! We need Wade II to remind us that ggg took risks and fought p4p #2 Brook!

But Gennady gets a pass for 168 to his accord.

Damn. Owning these failed promoters. It's best you not say anything bruh.
And Nelo's 155 bouts were not even title bouts, only 1 official defense and approved weight for Middleweight in Khan. What has GGG done north a pound?

Wait, I know when it was. It was after the WBC said you have two weeks or it goes to purse bid. That's when he said he wasn't ready for 160.
Canelo kept changing his timetable, that's what the problem was. But all this is a moot point now, since they're fighting. You know this, you just need some attention.

When Canelo won the WBC middleweight title, he lost the right to play the "ohhhhh im too little and need to acclimate to the weight" card. He was the lineal middleweight champion, and had an obligation to defend that against another credible middleweight. He chose not to.
Now had he just stayed at 154, he could have ran his mouth all he wanted, no harm done. But once he held that middleweight title up in the air, well that changed things.
Im not all that surprised though that you dont understand it.
