So Kovalev didn't shot up for the HBO interview and Ward didn't show up for the face off? I think that's what I'm getting form this.
Do you know what we call that? Showmanship.Comment

I could care less about black and white (I happen to be neither, myself). I root for Andre Ward, only because he's American. I just don't believe "sources" until they are legit. According, to Ring, this seems legit, so it certainly was not Cool, by Kovalev.Comment

In fairness, you can't expect Kovalev to do interviews on a saturday night because he already has prior engagements...

Might be, I got the impression that they were supposed to do something on Sat, Kov didn't show so Ward went back home. Whether the Sunday thing was a re-schedule of Sat (and Ward said "I'm not working on your schedule") or Ward just figured Kov wasn't going to show on Sun if he didn't show-up on Sat, I don't know.

One guy skips the interview, the other skips the face off. Way to promote the fight boys. Not that it will do any better than the first one anyways but a little promotion couldn't do anything but help.
I understand you're sticking up for Ward here and of course, all promoters lie, but what does Chris Mannix have against Ward by posting what HBO has told him? Did he make up their comments?Comment
