GGG vs Mayweather after Canelo KO

I think GGG KO's Canelo in Sept. I think this would put him in a position of a top dollar draw for Mayweather...over the magic 100 million dollar mark for Mayweather (maybe even significantly more). GGG has said in the past he would come down to 154 for Mayweather...and at this point 147 might be a little hard for Mayweather to even make.

I think it's the only super fight $$ for Mayweather to have as a comeback fight...unless you think McGregor vs Mayweather is even possible which would probably make Canelo vs Jr look like a classic.

Anyone think this may come off?

If GGG wins a close fight by decision...Mayweather will likely think he can beat him.

I would bet $100 to a penny that Mayweather will never fight GGG. Mayweather is a great fighter but not a great risk taker. GGG has said for many years that he would fight Mayweather at a weight limit of 154 pounds

I think if the fight does 1.4 mil PPV's or more, whoever wins would be a possible Floyd opponent-either GGG@154 or Canelo @ 157, assuming the Conor fight doesn't materialize.

I think either would beat Floyd at this point given he is over 40 and has been out of the ring for so long.

As if GG is a risk taker

Floyd started at 130 and won titles all the way to 154...you can't do that without taking risks.

Mayweather is finished with the sport. Mayweather would be 41 and 2 and half years out of the sport by the time a fight would be possible. Pretty damn sad people looking 2 divisions down for a retired great fighter. When there's a couple of active guys 2 divisions up.

Floyd turned 40 barely 11 weeks ago and has likely been training for Conor...he's probably in decent shape. Hopkins was still very dangerous at 40-41...it's not really that old for a guy who has never been worn down by the sport. I think he'd still be very be very competitive. GGG is 35 yrs old and Mayweather was so much better than Canelo. I'd think if he doesn't see a huge difference between the 2 he'd think he could win.

That is speculation on whether he is training. Come on dude, 40 is old for any professional sport. Hopkins was the exception to the rule.

I would think he'd have a better chance to beat GGG@ 154 because GGG has never fought at that weight. However, IMO, he will have been out a very long time which will surely have an affect on his speed, timing and reflexes.
