    Feel bad for Canelo

Am I the only one who feels bad for Canelo?

He has fought a grand total of ZERO fights to prepare him for GGG, despite knowing since at least 2015 that GGG would be the next big hurdle in front of him.

Instead he decided to bring Cotto down, bring up a chinless welterweight, bring down a nobody and fight over 160 against a somebody who cant fight worth a damn.

Way too much time wasted at Caneloweight. He wont be acclimated to 160 and wont be acclimated to fighting MWs.

Why didnt they prepare Canelo specifically for GGG???

I guess he could've fought Lemieux, but that would be a high risk/ low reward. Golovkin is high reward.

That's how you get attention. Look at Loma. He's getting fawned over for going up and taking challenges, despite suffering a loss for it. Ward did it cautiously, acclimated, and beat a much more impressive foe but gets very little credit. Respect to Canelo for going after it.

Quick question. Does anybody on Canelo resume outland and put Jacobs on his ass?

Not really. He had time to acclimate to the division and chose the lucrative fights instead. He either has the skills to do it or he doesn't. I'm not sure if his power carries up to middleweight yet.

results post mayweather- ko against shot limited bum angulo, controversial win against lara, KO against glass chinned bum kirkland (who ishida knocked out), KO against glass chinned welterweight who had been ko'd by a bum at lightweight, KO against a bum who had literally fought nobody, UD against the ghost of miguel cotto who hasnt had a good win against an uninjured opponent for 9 years, UD against a weight drained walking corpse who didnt look like he wanted to be there = 'THIS IS CANELO V 2.0 HES IMPROVED SO MUCH AFTER LOSING EVERY ROUND TO MAYWEATHER!!!!' GGG is a massive step up from the clowns canelos been fighting, people have got a shock in store in september, canelos been fighting at a real low opposition level these last few years, hes not improved at all.

Golovkin won't get the nod if he fights Canelo like Jacobs.

I agree. But I don't think Golovkin will be as cautious against Canelo once he feels Canelo lack of power. It's a big difference between Danny Jacobs, who sparked Quillin in one, and Canelo, who couldn't put Cotto on his ass

Imo Ward has gone bigger than what Canelo is doing, Kov was still looking like a wrecking ball when he signed for the fight. Golovkin's flaws and missteps are way more apparent right now.
