It's an interesting fight for just that reason. G's never faced a properly powerful counter puncher with good defense before.
The only blueprint Brook wrote is to have a trainer who will throw in the towel in time to save him from a certain KO just seconds away. I guess you must have forgot Brook got his ass kicked and his face bashed in.

Only difference is again, Brook didn't have enough power to do anything more. Jacobs had power to keep G at bay to go the distance.

Ultimately, G gets caught by the same punches every fight: counter straight, uppercut in the trench, and body shots. All trademark Canelo shots.

People can say "G lets himself get hit" - that's fine. But if he does that against Canelo, he will lose, period point blank.
He didn't let himself get hit by Lemieux he used his jab. He simply didn't respect Brook and he said before the fight he wanted a street fight. Golovkin even though his English isn't good and has a relaxed demeanor isn't ******. He's a shrewd fighter. If he doesn't respect Canelo he will be all over him and you might see a replay of the Brook fight. If he does respect him he will box and wear him down. Golovkin isn't one dimensional like his detractors think. Either way I think Canelo won't make it past the 7th round.

You shouldn't brag that you picked Bradley to win his first fight with Pacquiao. All that means is the guy you picked to win the fight really lost the fight by about 9 or 10 rounds for Pac and 3 rounds at most for Bradley. It was one of the worst decisions in boxing history. AS for all your other predictions coming true I will have to take your word on that or not. Hindsight is always correct..

I agree Canelo would beat him. Lemieux is wild and leaves himself open. Canelo is a controlled precision boxer puncher who make very few mistakes. He is also one of the best body punchers in boxing.Lemieux's vicious, relentless attack and the great speed and power of his punches make him a top 5 middleweight and not a bum.

Not my fault people can't read the signs like I can. Hell, Bradley basically spoiled the fight and that the fix was in, at which point I already knew which way to bet.

Same as Canelo/Chavez - smart people would have already known they'd do what they did. Including calling G out.

Exactly. And that's all that matters.

Nobody in the game uppercuts better than Canelo short of Charlo maybe - add that to a guy who don't like em and you have a recipe for a long night for G. That's fact, and nobody should refute it.

Look, ya'll Lemieux fans butthurt over the fact your guy is essentially a club fighter, let's stick to the thread. All I'm saying is, style wise he's all wrong for G and if G fights Canelo the same way he fought Brook, Jacobs or Murray, he's in for a LONG night, and Canelo will take a SD victory over him.

Canelo,is a bum beater just like GGG. When they fight tough guys , they both look like ****. It's a toss up who wins. Canelo power is vastly overrated, he never gets anyone good out of there, only glass jaw bums and tiny guys. Anyone world class he goes the 12.... GGG has the power edge, Canelo the speed... We will see which kind of fight GGG decides to fight. If he uses that jab he can win without much damage, if he stalks and trades it will be a fun fight for us to watch and Canelo could easily win.

And people must acknowledge Canelo as P4P at that point. The only guy to ever beat him was The Best Ever.

The Jacobs fight told me that G might get starstruck that night and we might very well see a repeat of Canelo/Chavez, mixed with beautiful feint uppercuts snapping G's head back.

I might buy just to see G fans getting up and leaving by Round 6.
