If Canelo schools Golovkin, it'll be Naseem Hamed all over again

Golovkin getting embarrassed over 12, having to hand back not only the belt he took from Canelo, but all of the other ones. Dejected. Demoralized. Fighting some bum next (Lemieux rematch) and barely showing up, then retiring saying he's too old to lace them up anymore.

And people must acknowledge Canelo as P4P at that point. The only guy to ever beat him was The Best Ever.

The Jacobs fight told me that G might get starstruck that night and we might very well see a repeat of Canelo/Chavez, mixed with beautiful feint uppercuts snapping G's head back.

I might buy just to see G fans getting up and leaving by Round 6.

i can't see it, canelo just doesn't have the footwork to do something like that. unless he develops floyd like footwork overnight and GGG ages really bad at the same time.

Thing with Canelo - and the Cotto fight taught me this - is that he doesn't need excellent footwork. He's an excellent counterpuncher, and G is a sucker for counter punches. Brook wrote the blueprint, but he didn't have the power to do anything with it.

It's an interesting fight for just that reason. G's never faced a properly powerful counter puncher with good defense before.

If you think GGG is going to fight Canelo the same way be fought Brook, then the joke is on you. Are you serious?

G fights the same way against everyone, and if you think otherwise you DKSAB, frankly.

The only time I saw G have any dimension to his game was against Gabe Rosado - a walking punching bag if there ever was one.

He didn't fight Jacobs the same way he fought Brook so you're wrong. Like i said, GGG respects Canelo's skills and power. If you think he will walk into his punches, you need serious help with boxing

Yes, he did. Tentative, didn't half throw for the first 4 rounds, getting outboxed for at least 2-3 rounds.

Only difference is again, Brook didn't have enough power to do anything more. Jacobs had power to keep G at bay to go the distance.

Ultimately, G gets caught by the same punches every fight: counter straight, uppercut in the trench, and body shots. All trademark Canelo shots.

People can say "G lets himself get hit" - that's fine. But if he does that against Canelo, he will lose, period point blank.

And GGG beat Jacobs 7-5 or 8-4 clearly, if you dont agree, youre a ****ing moron.

I guarantee GGG won't fight the same way against Canelo. Jacobs is bigger and stronger than Canelo and GGG handled him well. Again, disagree? Youre a ****ing moron. Later

To beat him Canelo has to actually get in the ring and fight him. That is over 4 months away. I hope you aren't going to start this same BS thread daily 120 times before the fight. One of the main reasons they have fights is to see who wins. They don't just guess at the winner which is all you are doing. You are just guessing, wishing, hoping and praying Canelo wins just like the rest of the GGG haters on here are doing. Canelo might win but he isn't going to school GGG. GGG is an excellent boxer who has never been behind on points at any time in any fight. He has the best left jab in the division. If you really believe Canelo will beat GGG as easily as he beat Chavez you have a very low boxing IQ.
