I don't think it's about that...i think it had to do with this being canelos highest weight vs a guy who was 4" taller, had a good punch, and has been a bigger fighter his whole career. He could do nothing because canelo was far too skilled for him, no one said Chavez was an A or B level fighter, but he did nothing...didnt win a single rd, wasn't even remotely close, and he made about 18 million dollars after ppv comes out.
