    Joseph Park needs to ........

Parker needs to take inspiration from Chris Byrd who at 6'1 lacked knock out power with a low 47% KO but was one of the most feared and ducked heavyweight fighters on the planet for a good while. He was fast and highly slick and he was a nightmare to match up against because he would dance all around you, get in and out and basically take the rounds away from virtually almost everybody he fought. And a whole bunch of knock out artists like David Tua, Hollyfield etc came unstuck against him.

Byrd won the heavyweight title off the arguably the better Klitschko in Vitali who he was the first fighter on the planet to give him a loss and Vitali only ever other loss came at the hands of Lennox Lewis.

Byrd proves you do not have to be a knock artist to be feared and avoided as he certainly was until he got older and slower. Parker should be looking to replicate what Byrd did correct if he does not have knock out power.

Sure Parker Looked average in his first title defense but he won super easy, the only thing he did not do was knock his opponent out. There is absolutely no reason that Parker couldn't do the same to AJ, Wilder, (Bellend) Bellew, Fury or anybody he fights.

The heavyweight division is obsessed with Knock Outs but the honest truth is apart from when he has gassed himself, I have yet to see any boxer on the planet out fight Parker as of yet as a pro. HE could easy beat everybody without KOing anybody.

I do not think by any stretch of the imagination that AJ or Wilder are better than parker technically. They just simply hit harder. That is all.

I could envision Parker picking AJ or Wilder apart. Parker is certainly the fastest heavyweight today.

Weird comparison. Parker doesn't fight remotely like Byrd. He's an aggressive come forward ****er. That means you need to be able to hurt your opponents. When he's pushed onto the backfoot he looks very uncomfortable. Byrd lived his entire ring career on the backfoot.

If Parker can't hurt his opponents his career at the top is going to be quite short.

Parker's main problem is that although he's talented and can fight more than one way, he doesn't have the skillset/attributes to have a real strong A game. He's good coming forward, but not so good as to get the tougher guys out of there. He can box and move but not well enough to dominate or even clearly beat Ruiz. I don't see that much similarity or think he should try to fight like Byrd. If Parker was on the ropes using mostly head movement against Joshua, Wilder, Wlad he would get taken out.
