That will change when he steps In with Golovkin.

Cannel doesn't have the power to hurt Golovkin and on the contrary, Golovkin might decapitate him with a couple of shots.
Main take away that I got from the fight is that Canelo doesn't appear to be very strong above 160lbs. He really never hurt Jr and his punches were very slappy like. They aren't heavy thudding shots like he has at 154-155

I think Jacobs, Charlo, even Lemieux power and size at this weight would give Canelo big problems. So realistically he and GBP had no where to go after this fight. Even at 154 you still had Charlo's and Andrade waiting...

TBH Canelo's career should be winding down at this point he started early and he should retire early. About 5-6 more fight Canelo should hang em up..

Yes, like when Pacquiao KO'ed Hatton quicker.

It's 2017. Time to move in from the Floyd fan talk.

Oh we'll see lol, I would say bet on it, but I need to cash out on kovalev ward first.

This year is turning out to be one of the best. Just what we needed after last year.

              YEAP!

I do not think Canelo has the power.
I think even Lemiux would kill him in a 160 fight.

He is done and will loose badly against the Charlos, Lemiux, D Jacobs and of course, Golovkin.

I like how people are pretending that Canelo was always going to fight him. No, he had no options anymore. He exhausted all the tune up fights he had. The fans weren't going to settle for anything less. The fans showed their displeasure towards him as he was booed coming into the ring against the quitter Chavez! He had to take the fight and pay Golovkin.

Now he just has to show up and get taken clean out.
WBO said if Canelo wanted it they would make him the mandatory for Suanders Middleweight strap. Could have fought Lemiux as well.
Canelo wanted the fight but his team and promoter wanted to hold off as they wouldn't have to give up as much $$$ to lesser opponents. Fights is made. And those same fans were chanting Canelo at the end will be fully behind him now.

Garcia is 5'8 and Khan was clearly taller than him he's 5'9 I'd bet on that. Khan is not short.

TBH I think that why Floyd didn't fight him Khan's length would have gave him problems..
