I've noticed that Canelo has been sitting on the ropes a lot lately. I wonder if it's mini preparation for Golovkin. If it is, it's a damn fine strategy. Golovkin does leave himself open when his opponent is on the ropes.

But he also punishes his opponents - Canelo will have to risk getting hit twice as hard as he's ever been hit to try and counter.

GGG is prolly more aware than he may seem when he's wailing away on guys with their backs against the ropes.

But this would be the perfect time to practice any sort of technique/game-plan for GGG. Even though Chavez in no way represents GGG - he's literally just target practice so he can risk to work on, and refine techniques.

at all of you, Canelo is punishing him every time he throws, so he's not. I can think of a few fighters off the top of my head who do the same thing to fighters, and get a lot of praise on here....
