Fighters damn near universally praise Haymon. Dude was talking to Berto for years before he signed him. Dude was talking to Paul Williams every day for idk how long after he got paralyzed + got him setup with property before he got hurt so he was self sustainable before he couldn't box anymore. There are dozens & dozens of stories like that & then there is Floyd who become the richest boxer in history with Haymon while Arum scuffed at Floyd's dreams.

If anything Haymon is some sorta unicorn-ish leprechaun with all the positive effects he's had on fighters pre-PBC, during PBC & I'll bet post-PBC if it dies. Guy is like reverse Don King.

The only thing I don't get is how Haymon doesn't have some kind of mouthpiece. Can Sam Watson not speak, he is clearly a face because dude is always seen, can his kids not speak.

It is not even like a hard sell either because really what bad thing was Haymon even involved in? getting dudes taken care of maybe at a rate more than they deserved. It can't be that complicated a message.
