Right now they have only worked together indirectly khan and chavez fights were negotiated without haymon with golden boy dealing directly with the fighters and their managers. Khan said haymon couldnt block the fight if he wanted to and he just got a cut from his fighters end no control or say over the promotion of the fight. Not even given a undercard fight for one of his fighters. Thats not how they worked together in the past. So really golden boy has just contracted a few haymon fighters to be their B side specifically for canelo and golden boy and canelo kept the lion share of the money. Khan paid 6m, canelo 13m. This fight Chavez said he making 6m while canelo making over 20m.

I don't think canelo needs them if they said no they were going to move on to somebody else. Chavez and khan needed canelo to get paid not the other way around. Chavez last fight was not on PBC or showtime instead on Bein Espaņol because pbc couldn't afford Chavez and showtime refused to pay it. Both men are business men so at some point it makes sense to work together but nobody including haymon has leverage on canelo in making a fight. And besides canelo they haven't worked together. Canelo is big enough he can pick any fighter and tell them I will give you double the most you can make fighting anyone else haymon would have problems with his own fighters if he tried to stop the fight.

Let me make sure I understand this. You want us to believe Golden Boy doesn't 'need' Al Haymon, even though Haymon has provided opponents for 2 of last 3 Canelo fights. The same Canelo who (according to court documents) is the only fighter in GB's stable capable of turning profitable cards.

Common sense would seem to dictate that if what you claim is true (GB not needing Haymon), that they would simply 'moved on' without him. As doing this would have a) proved they didn't need him and, more importantly b) not sabotaged their own claims in their antitrust lawsuit that Haymon was blocking out and not working with certain promoters.

Seems to be a bit of stretch to claim not to 'need' someone when that entity has been the primary source of meaningful opponents for your organization's only profit center.

But whatever makes you feel better, G.

Canelo is about to have his highest selling PPV since Floyd and you're saying he doesn't need Chavez? Canelo has an $8mil bill due. You sound crazy!

And Haymon may not have stopped the fights but he could've made it more difficult than it was. Golden Boy is having a harder time negotiating with K2 than the man they were suing in court.

Y'all really need to stop listening to these writers and start looking at people actions. There has been nothing from Haymon's side to indicate he was feuding with Oscar. He worked with Oscar on the midst of Oscar filing a baseless lawsuit against him

I'm starting to think Al Haymon is some sort of phantom shape shifter LOL

Every photo of him if grainy and looks like it was taken in the 70's. Hell he even wears 1970's style suits
