Chavez Jr. looks better than expected. I still think Canelo wins but by decision and not by KO. Chavez Jr. will be to big and strong to get stopped by Canelo but Canelos skill-advantage will make him the winner.

Junior looked ill. Pale, Glassy eyed and sick looking lips.
However he managed to put on a little show on the stage, and he did happen to look better than I feared.
I still think Canelo is the better fighter and Chavez will be ko'ed.Comment

Canelo should've hired Memo to sit around and watch him spar. Rookie move letting Chavez Jr hire him. You know he's had weight issues. You know Memo is the best in the game. Don't give Chavez Jr that option. That's what they're talking about when they say the fight is won at the negotiation table.Comment

I'm surprised Chavez didn't look as thin as in the Martinez fight. I was expecting a paper thin look considering the pounds he had to shed in this particular fight.
Martinez peppered Chavez with hundreds of punches, but Julio took everything without going down, and he still manage to almost KO Sergio in the last round.
Is Canelo as fast as Martinez? Maybe, or maybe he got more power. But it's hard to count Chavez out in this fight.

Gotta be honest, I saw a drained Chavez Jr. but I honestly expected to see him worst, I was expecting a zombie up there and even thou he didn't look healthy he didn't look like trash either.
