This year has been fantastic. Boxing fans have this weird thing where they are so used to disappointment, they don't fully realise when things are going great.

Wlad-AJ, Chocolatito-Sor Rungvisai and Valdez vs Mariaga were absolutely fantastic fights. De-Gale-Jack was stellar.

We've got Spence-Brook and Ward-Kov 2 coming up, which are crazy good. Crawford-Diaz too.

Canelo-Chavez is a fun fight, or at the very least a big event (which the sport needs too).

I am fairly certain GGG-Canelo happens in Sept. Possibly Chocolatito-Sor Rungvisai 2 and Cuadras vs Estrada too (yes, I know I'm speaking in hypotheticals here).

Thurman-Garcia was a disappointment but dammit, we still got the fight made.

And I know I'm missing some other stuff. But basically, yes 2017 is a tremendous year boxing for boxing.

It's been the best year since 2013. It's like almost everyone in boxing got together and decided to clean up their act and realised the **** they'd been doing previously wasn't going to cut it anymore.
