Yeah, I know he had surgery.

But folks with no injury at all (or very minor ones) get surgery every day.

In this case, it was an injury from right after the DLH fight which never seemed to bother him much in the 6 1/2 years following.

Hell, he was off almost a year when JMM flew his head, that would have been a perfect time to have it done.

So yeah, forgive me if I think the shoulder was a ready made and very convenient excuse.
It was an old injury that got worse during that camp, forcing him to stop training for a few days before the fight.

He had injections that were visible because blood was coming out of his shoulder.

There is a legal amount but I'm not sure what it is

Did it or was it an excuse in case questions were asked about the Toradol he planned on using? Some NFL players say Toradol takes away all pain and some said it makes them feel like they can run through walls, powerful stuff.

Did he get a surgery right after the fight because he was butthurt that he lost? that sounds more reasonable, right?

He got surgery on an old injury which he had since 2009, which didn't cause him much problems. He did it as an excuse for the loss and trying to take Toradol. Nobody saw anything wrong with his shoulder in the ring, he was fine.
