This right here. It's time to let him fight somebody with a pulse. All this hype is laughable.

But we know he'll just wait around for Canelo, take a beating, then cash out.

Being from Montreal, I support my hometown fighter but no, David, you simply don't have enough boxing skill to land your power on GGG. Your arms are short and you don't have/use much of a jab and can't deal with GGG's jab. Jacobs is bigger with a longer reach, he would only need to box you at a distance, there would be no need for him to test your power.

I want to see Jacobs, Charlo, Lemieux, Mini-Tyson, and Canelo fight it out.

Lol..good luck getting Oscar to pit one of his 4 marketable fighters up against a tall order in fighting a Haymon guy. Haymon would have to put up enough money where Oscar wouldn't mind having David take an L so doubtful we ever see that fight.

What I don't understand is why Oscar didn't make a fight with Lemieux and Taureano Johnson (IBF #1)? That should be the undercard fight tomorrow night. I believe both are with GBP. Now it seems Johnson vs. Derevyanchenko will go to purse bid. Hindsight is 20/20!

Guess he is looking for another beating at the hands of GGG

Finally someone with an objective boxing analysis of Lemieux against these guys.

I support a hometown boy as much as the next guy but I agree with you. He wouldn't be able to deal with GGG or Jacobs. Hell of an exciting fighter to watch though.
