Why Wlad Klitschko picking Toney is a smart move. IMO

1 - Toney is a big name to fight
2 - Should not be a difficult fight for Wlad
But here is the real logic:

    Wlad wants to fight Rahman.
Rahman is already fighting Maskaev. Assuming Rahman gets passed Maskaev, his next fight would be a rematch with Toney.
By Wlad fighting Toney, he eliminates him from the race. So after and if Rahman beats Maskaev and Wlad beats Toney... The two of them can hit it off.

Sounds like a very smart move and the right move for the division.

    Go Wlad!

Yeah fastests way to get to Rahman. What I don't understand is what will happen to winner of Ibragimov-Ruiz, probably will have to wait out Klitschko-Rahman fight.

IMO if the fight happens and Toney comes in looking like he did against Rahman, Toney gets ktfo by wlad.

Is Ibragimov/Ruiz a mandatory for Wlad?

I love watching JT fight. I like his old school style and I think he's got talent in buckets, but in my not so humble opinion, he doesn't belong in the heavyweight division.
Regardless of what shape he comes to fight in, I think it will be an easy victory for Little Klit. Toney is the slickest HW out there, but he lacks to the pop to get Little Klit out of there, even with Little Klit's chin problems.

It is a good move alright! Wlad would have to give Toney about 20 free shots to KO him!

It is smart for him but the easy way just like against Byrd.He should try to redeem his lose to Brewster IMO......before Rahman KOs his ass.
