Seems like a vanity investment more than a legit investment.

But I've heard you do tend to get a lot of side sh^t upside when you are an NBA owner (legit or partial) so its probably not like he's setting money on fire or anything.

Plus I'd assume team value historically moves up, regardless of a team's success, so if you get in now when a team is worth on average $500M & get out in 10 years when lets say a team is worth $650M on average that doesn't seem like an awful move.

He's trolling lol you don't field an investment opportunity like this on instagram but he'd likely only be able to get a minority interest anyway. His past would preclude him from a majority interest in any team.

I still love what he's been able to do with his career.

That'll be cool to see Mayweather own a team. I'm just wondering would he dial back a little bit with his personality or would he get worse. Will it be the Mayweather showing up ringside with his family or the Money Mayweather walking in with 20 models surrounding him lol

Many people are gonna read this article wrong. He ain't gonna have full ownership of any team he'd own a percentage. 5% maybe. Big money still but even that small of a percentage is gonna be hard for him to obtain. Those slave owners don't even like magic or mj being partial owners

                    Oh sh^t yea that's valid.

And that might keep him away from any ownership minority included now that I think about it. I mean he'd be a more noteworthy minority investor than most guys & who the f#ck wanna deal with random womans domestic abuse groups protesting outside your Tuesday night game.

Floyd needs to focus on becoming the Bill Gates of strip clubs.
