This is the time we live in. One big win puts someone at the top of the boxing stratosphere, and one loss makes them a hype job. Already talk of P4P greatness, biggest star in boxing, could beat the ATGs...all this from one big win over a faded, 41 year old Klitschko who was never an ATG to begin with. I like Joshua, and it was a good fight, but fans and media need to get a grip. Act like you've been there before. This is the type of hype that actually hurts a fighter and spawns haters. It's ok for there to be a buzz around him, but lets see where he goes from here.

They don't even need a big win. Look at Golovkin.

I don't really even understand the comparison, although I didn't watch the video.

Is he going to be as big as Ali? Maybe. I definitely think in this social media era its easier to get popular & therefore its also easier to become Justin Bieber/Taylor Swift popular too. Someone is gonna pass Ali sooner or later despite some fans likely being super loyal to Ali's legacy & denying it.

Is he going to be as good as Ali. Probably not. He's just a big mofo who definitely gots some heart, but I can't really see a guy becoming better than Ali who's not put into the game at the ground level at a young age what Ali did. I think you gotta be boxing before your balls dropped at this point to be seen as good or better then most of the guys deemed great by most fans.

I don't see many people claiming Canelo is an ATG and he has a better resume than Golovkin.

If Joshua wins more than 3 fights in a row and fights decent competition I will be shocked. He has major flaws. It's possible Wlad looked so good because Joshua is only good not great.
