I can't get my head around anyone condoning or finding any humour in it if it does, de la Hoya publicly stating that should ggg fight Saunders in June then it jeopardises a canelo fight in September because they're ready to start promoting it straight after the Chavez jr fight.
If he starts talking his marinading ****e again and starts talking up a 2018 date it will be a disgrace.
He said in 2016 that canelo v golovkin wouldn't end up being a May v Pac situation, that's exactly what it will be. Either won't happen or will have lost any real relevance when it does.

Any of you clowns that would rather see canyellow fight Saunders or Lemieux can't be real fans, you all complain about ggg fighting inferior opposition yet when that exact situation arises you guys are happy about it, I think it all boils down to the fact you all want ggg to fail yet you guys will make excuses for canyellow ducking, you clowns should all go to the ballet together

This is why it's so difficult for the organizations to be fair and enforce the rules. The stars will just run to another organization that let's them do whatever they want.

Shame on anybody who recognizes the WBO. It was founded by the WBA's disgraced bribe taker. It has no history or lineage. Just a belt invented out of thin air by a crook. Recognizing the WBO allows fighters to hide behind fake belts to avoid top fighters. Everybody knew GGG was the top guy at middleweight. Thanks to the WBO, Cotto and Canelo are able to hide from GGG.

The WBO did the same when Demetrius Andrade was the WBO 154 champ and he wanted to move up to fight for the WBO 160 belt against Korobov after Quillin vacated.

They give their champs the option of becoming mandatory if they choose to move up.

They're letting Canelo know he has the option to become mandatory for the WBO 160 belt since he holds their 154 version.
