They give their champs the option of becoming mandatory if they choose to move up.

They're letting Canelo know he has the option to become mandatory for the WBO 160 belt since he holds their 154 version.

That's exactly what's gonna happen, it's the real reason Dela Hoya didn't want Golovkin fighting Saunders.
