I'm not saying one guy represents masses but there's still a lot of people overrating what was a lot of ugly punches between two stiff fighters. I think it was a lot of fun, but nothing like some of the HW wars of the past and Teddy is just saying, let's not forget that we've had even greater HW fights come before.

I do not agree with this at all. Both fighters landed some exquisite punches and the fight had a great flow and was aesthetically tremendous. Nothing ugly about that fight.

No-one saying it is the greatest fight ever, I follow boxing across all media and I have not heard a single person call it the greatest fight ever, or in HW history - we're just calling it a legitimately great fight and event, with the potential for it to be elevated into the pantheon of great HW fights.

Nothing personal but I had to lol @ "aesthetically tremendous". Honestly, as much as I think Fury is overrated, he at least has enough flow to make Wlad and AJ look like robots by comparison. If you think this weekend's fight was an aesthetic showcase them it sounds like you're just going to defend that fight no matter what and no one is going to change your mind.

I think it was great, but we gotta be realistic.

For a modern heavyweight fight, it was visually great IMHO. I lol at your "it was ugly punches from stiff fighters" line. I don't get that at all.

You are simply not going to get the perfect technique and speed that the smaller fighters have with heavyweights for obvious reason.
