Well, this means the fight is basically already made. Floyd is going to try to sell McGregor as a threat.

The real intrigue will be from the fact that McGregor will be portrayed as a loose cannon. Pundits will be talking about, "what if Connor decides he can't win and wants out of the fight, would he just kick Mayweather in the head?" And both of these fighters are experts at creating a buzz, McGregor will play up the loose cannon aspect the whole promotion. Of course there will be countless boxers or boxing trainers who will claim that they have seen McGregor train and it's "inhuman how far he has progressed, they've never seen anyone develop so quickly." Of course little to no video of his sparring will be released.

As a boxing purist this fight is a joke. As a fan, it's going to be a heck of a lot of fun. And this will be the ultimate Pros vs Joes event, and who doesn't want to see that?

Great for both sports too. Only thing that would be bad would be if McGregor won.
