At that time Mayweather didn't want to fight Canelo so when Canelo said that then Mayweather used that against him and told him that if he wants the fight then he'll have to come down in weight. So that's where the catch weight came in. But don't act like Canelo insisted on coming down in weight you dumbass!

154 would have been perfect for Cotto, so he gave Canelo an extra pound, just like Canelo's other JMW opponents did when they fought him at 155.

If Mr 154-168 REALLY wanted to fight Canelo, he would have done what Chavez just did

Personally I don't count the 155 fights as a CW since it's literally just a pound and Canelo has always made weight. To each their own though

Fighting a former LHW at 164.5 is perfectly fine by me since Cinnamon never fought above 154/155...so I'm confused about the CW being a big deal ???
