Comments Thread For: Hearn: Joshua-Fury Maybe in April, Klitschko II Possible For Fall

According to Eddie Hearn, promoter of IBF, IBO, WBA heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua (19-0, 19 KOs), a showdown with Tyson Fury (25-0, 18 KOs) is more realistic for April 2018 at Wembley. Shortly after his thrilling 11th-round stoppage of Wladimir Klitschko at London's Wembley on Saturday, Joshua 'called out' Fury by saying: "Fury, where are you at, baby?"

Wlad's looking good but I feel like he'll be Ko'd much easier in the rematch.

There you have it, along with the recent article on boxingscene stating that Joshua is only fighting twice a year that leaves out Deontay Wilder for 2017-2018 as A.J has two mandatories and will most likely drop at least one belt to make the Fluff-Klitschko rematch.

Stay ducking, the 'Bronze-Bomber' been waiting on Joshua since 2015.

So Bum-Squad wanted to fight AJ in 2015 b4 he was champ and had 15 fights to his 35...lol hilarious!!!!! Much bigger fights with Fury and rematch with Wlad...Bum-Squad will continue avoiding the top 10 hws and fight fat cans(Molina,Arreola) and obscure european stiffs(Spilka,Duhappus) on a college campus in Hickville, Alabama where ringside seats go for about $5 compared to $50k for AJ v Wlad.

hilarious! Wilder hasn't fought anyone good in over 30 fights, and Joshua just fought an opponent 5x better than anyone Wilder has fought.

This "Bum Squad" **** has to be one of the dumbest criticisms on NSB in years. They say he's bum squad, but them criticize him for wanting to unify against the other champions in his division. ****ing morons man.

Still waiting for you to refute any thing I said. Lets talk about the facts, number one : Wladimir is 41 years old, chinny and was inactive for just about the longest period as a pro ( nearly 2 plus years ). Most professionals in the industry considered him way past his best when Fluffy barely beat him. At this point hes just a good name on Joshuas resume and thats it...so add Klitch's name to a Dominc Breazele, Erik Molina ( Deontay leftover ) 'The Prince ' Charles Martin ( worst HW champion perphaps ever ) and Dyllan Whyte -- I dont see how you can knock Deontay's resume but give full credit to Joshua ; when really he has Tyson Fury to thank for where hes at at the moment by vacating his titles.

These guys need to face the #1. HW in the world ( Deontay Wilder ), that has not cheated his way to the top or been given privilege by having a bum champion in Charles Martin delviver a title to his doorstep and then fighting in a false 'unification' against a inactive veteran who never even won the WBA in the first place....Joshua is a lucky man.

First fight was great, but I'm not sure a rematch is necessary.

Joshua was comfortably ahead on the cards (official and commentary teams of Sky, HBO and Showtime) until punching out in the 5th. He then took control back as soon as he got his legs back and stopped Wlad badly.

... I don't think that Klitschko would contemplate a rematch...
