joshua is not as well known as a broner in america.. Broner does the highest ratings on showtime... His last fight is the most watched on showtime in 2017.... Joshua needs to come to america do some american media... American pop radio stations and some tv shows.... Then he will get to that next level... He is on his wayComment

Going by the numbers should have another fight before he goes to the UK, like you said see if they grow further.

The only way I'd bring him to the US is:
1. to fight Wilder in MSG.
2. to fight in Vegas where he is assured a win to get more Americans interested-Shannon Briggs maybe.Comment

My dude, don't let ******ed inbred imbeciles guide how you analyze things. The notion that any previous fight turned people off is complete and utter BS. That's just Manny fans and Floyd haters doing their best to downplay the fight to claim some victory because Floyd beat Manny.
Manny's ratings have dropped because he didn't show up in the big fight. If Floyd were to come back and fight Manny, Thurman it would still be huge. Floyd/McGregor is the most talked about fight event in all of sports. Again, don't let the inbred imbeciles make you believe Floyd hurt the sport.
As for this fight, I think more people watched then have recently watched a wlad fight. Wlad/Fury had about 1.1 mil viewers if i recall. The total for this fight exceeds that if you add the network totals.
Wlad has been in garbage fights with unknown opponents for the last 7-9 years. However, his loss made him vulnerable, which probably meant people that didn't watch him previously decided to tune in. Joshua has developed a following because he has won in dominant fashion while showing some vulnerability.
If you ask boxing fans, most were hooked by watching an unforgettable or at least really exciting fight.
If the the first hyped fight I would have seen was canelo vs lara or klitschko vs povetkin, I probably would have been turned off by boxing for a period of time.Comment

i thought showtime promoted this fight pretty damn good to be honest.... Hbo didnt promote it all... I know they had time constraints but thats no excuse.... Lomachenko was promoted on hbo for weeks and he did less than this fight so you need to kep that in mind.... Maybe they lost 100k views because of bad promo... MaybeComment
